Billed as an afternoon of learning, connecting and growing, Cathy Freeman will share her inspirational story and life achievements at the AusIndustry Business Support Showcase. The Showcase incorporates an exhibition and six workshops to showcase the support mechanisms available from the Australian Government, Territory Government, and non-government organisations to establish, operate and grow businesses. During a Q&A session, hosted by facilitator Dale McIver, Cathy will address the importance of courage, commitment, resilience and teamwork in pursuing business and personal goals. From “I think I can” to “I know I will,” Cathy’s session will provide advice for cultivating a mindset to turn dreams into reality by overcoming adversity, harnessing innovation, adapting to change, empowering people and mentoring the next generation.

Supporting Cathy will be speakers from local Territory Success Story, Ikuntji Artists; you will hear from Roseranna Larry (Chairperson), Dr Chrischona Schmidt (Manager) and Hayley Dodd (Artist/Model) who will share insights into their to business success.

Afternoon tea will be provided on arrival and a networking function will follow the keynote speaker talk, canapés will be provided and a cash bar will be available to purchase drinks.
